We will be participating in the ARRL Field Day on June 22-23, 2019. Our QTH for the weekend will be at John Fischer's located at 3370 E CR 100 S Centerpoint, IN. We will be discussing our plans in more detail at the June 10 meeting. Everyone is welcome to be a part of our activities that weekend. Plenty of food, fun, fellowship and ham radio will be the order of the day. For more information about ARRL Field Day you can visit the ARRL website:

                         INQP May 4, 2019

Our group participated in the INQP (Indiana QSO Party) on May 4, 2019. We operated at the QTH of Jim (K9SVJ and Linda (K9LKH) appropriately named Serenity Valley.

It was wet with a soft drizzle for most of the day. However, it was dry inside and we had a good time. Band conditions were not the best, but with other QSO parties at the same time we were able to make some contacts.

Our log shows we ended the day with 49 contacts, 62 QSO points, 41 multipliers and a claimed score of 2,542 points. We worked 18 Indiana counties and 11 different states. A pretty good effort on a rainy day!!

Thank you to all who took part and made for a good day.

Update on Clay County AuxCom Station Installation

The hospital continues to be very gracious in providing us with a very nice place for our station. The operating positions have been provided with power, and the coax runs are complete, and the stations are on the air. The packet equipment has been purchased and it is on the air as a KA node N9CCA-7 and BBS as N9CCA-1.
